US Military-grade gun cleaner, lubricant, and anti-corrosion protectant gains the trust of international firearm experts and trainers
Carbon fouling, metal buildup, and moisture can compromise firearm accuracy, function, lifespan, and resale value. Now gun owners worldwide can use a legendary gun cleaner, lubricant, and anti-corrosion protectant to suppress these adversaries, even in the harshest of conditions in the field, on the range, or for personal defense.
The military-grade firearms cleaner, called StrikeHold, was developed for the US military to protect all types of weapons from the effects of corrosion, rust, and the sticky buildup from oil-based products. The product worked so well on firearms that it has been used as a cleaner, dry lubricant, and maintenance preventative on everything from M4 carbines to the Abrams M1A2 tank and is now deployed by law enforcement and civilian gun owners.
The firearms cleaner is passing tests and gaining the confidence of firearms experts and instructors around the world.
“As a RET Special Forces operator, and primary Armour for the 101st Air Assault Div under Gen David Petraeus, [with a] combined 26 years of experience, I can attest to the fact that StrikeHold is by far the most effective cleaner, lubricant on weapons …,” says David Foster, Jr., US Army Ret., Advance, N.C.
Firearms expert Geoff Smith weighs in from Australia on how the gun cleaner and lubricant performed on his tests.
“Where oils attract grit and clog up the works of military firearms, StrikeHold apparently doesn’t as it dries off yet retains its lubrication properties,” states Geoff Smith, a longtime firearm instructor and writer for The Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia, a federated non-government organization established in 1948 as a representative body to promote shooting sports and protect the legal rights and interests of firearm owners in Australia. Smith has taught firearm safety for thirty years, written several books, and advised the government about gun laws.
Smith continues, “initial tests certainly show the product is effective as a cleaner on several of my handguns and immediately cured some squeaky items which had been annoying me around the house.”
The fast-acting, penetrating cleaner and lubricant goes on wet and dries in place, protecting weapons by deterring carbon build-up, contaminants, and corrosion in all weather conditions. As a cleaner, it removes firing residues and gum build-up as well as foreign debris from weapons components.
“The instructions suggest that it should be sprayed on and as you wipe it off any dirt or residues come with it. Soot on the cylinder faces of several revolvers and within the slides of self-loading handguns showed this works well…. I also sprayed it into the barrels of quite a few handguns… I found it gave good results at loosening soot and powder fouling,” states Smith.
As a lubricant, the product’s synthetic-based additives act like microscopic ball-bearings to reduce friction. The gun cleaner has been battle tested on all types of weapons systems from 9-millimeter pistols to M110 sniper rifles and M4 to 50 caliber field artillery.
“When sprayed on and left it dries and leaves a visibly undetectable film which nevertheless reduces surface friction,” states Smith. “Having used the product for several weeks in gun cleaning and around the workshop, its performance is quite impressive.”
Although international firearm owners have long used conventional oil-based cleaners and lubricants, having access to a more technologically advanced product originally developed for the US military will keep their guns clean and functional far into the future.
